At the conclusion of each workshop there will be a showing of the students work for family & friends.

This is a crash course on graphic storytelling and sequential art. Students will learn how to use panels, captions, and all the other elements of comics and graphic novels to tell the stories they want to tell. When finished, students will walk away with a finished comic book of their very own and the know-how to create their own comics in the future.
How to play, practice, and use the guitar. Fundamentals of song writing and use of voice include free in this workshop. Music is a language and the guitar a tool for that language. This workshop will provide everything the student needs to pave a life long musical path. Please join us for the experience of music through the guitar.

Beginning Steel Band offers students the opportunity to learn to play the steel pan in a group setting. Students will be introduced to pan performance through a combination of reading music and the traditional Trinidadian rote method. Students will also be exposed to current to steel pan recordings and discuss the history of this family of instruments. By the end of the 5 session course students will be ready to perform a short recital. No previous musical experience is necessary. ALL instruments will be provided.
In this class students will begin making mosaic works of art from day one! No prior experience necessary. Using various ceramic and glass tiles, broken dishes, mirror, river rocks, etc. students will create mosaics on objects of different shapes and sizes including but not limited to: boxes, mirror frames, earthen pots, a piece furniture of the students choice. At course end students will feel confident using the materials and tools of the trade and be ready to tackle projects independently! Additional materials fees may apply, inquire upon registration.
Do you have beautiful or memorable photos, but you’re not sure what to do with them? Maybe you enjoy scrap booking, but you hate that your hard work sits hidden in a book. Photomontage is a course designed to combine crafting, photography and assemblage techniques to make custom works of art that showcase these photos. This class is for all skill levels and requires no previous experiences. All necessary materials are based on individual designs. Additional materials fees may apply, inquire upon registration.
This course aims to get you engaged in the language of music. All levels of musical understanding are welcome, even first-timers. During the course we will learn: Timing and general sense of rhythm – how to work with the metronome, counts and music; Use of Voice - Singing, Character voices, Public speaking, Articulation and discovering unique sounds.; Instruments - Become familiar with and playing a bunch of different instruments; Chords, Melody and Rhythm - Everything you will need to create, play and read music; Songwriting - Methods, Style and Judgment; The Performance - Live Performance With Enthusiasm and how to interact with the Sound engineer.
